Zentangle 5

This is not truly a zentangle, it would be Zentangle inspired art as there were no strings, and this is on a much larger surface. 

It was challenging but also great.

Zentangle 4

Today I struggled in this Zentangle, but as I admired the final product I remembered something I read when I was just starting this journey which said that all tangles go through a stage which they are ugly. That was it for me today. 

On a personal note, today was also difficult. I listened to a sermon which as part of it discussed having a young family and how as spouses you love each other. That is something which is now much farther out of reach from me. It seems like it is eons away. I wish that I could experience the love from someone that aligns with 1 Corinthians 13. 

All I know is that I need to great my world as described in the love chapter, and right now in this moment what I most need to do is to not keep a record of wrongs.

Zen-carrot

This is today's. it reminds me of a carrot. I also like the 'Nekton' pattern which is on the right side. Also, I think I settled on my signature. 

Zentangle:

Life. 

It changes often, and these days there seems to be more change than ever. That's all I'll say on that. 

Anyways, I plan on putting my new artistic expression on my blog - Zentangles. It is a somewhat organized method of doodling which I have this far enjoyed. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed creating them. 

This was my first one ever. 

This is the one I did tonight. I am experimenting with space. Also I am trying out different initials.
